Hi. I’m a Los Angeles-based journalist, copywriter, editor, and creative writer. I’m currently a senior writer with The Hustle, freelance everywhere else.
The kind of writing I do is, well, all of it. I’ve got over a decade of experience as a journalist. That includes focusing on hyperlocal hard news for newspapers and indie outlets, as well as features for magazines and digital outlets. I’ve also got experience as a managing editor and editor-in-chief, though I do tend to gravitate toward the writing side. (Bylines include The Hollywood Reporter, Entrepreneur, Playboy, Westways, Atlas Obscura, Vice, Thrillist, IGN, Nerdist, many more.)
I also copywrite. Websites, advertising materials, bios, blogs, you name it. Past clients include Facebook, Capitol Records, Visit West Hollywood, Postmates, Randstad Risesmart & Meow Wolf.
But I love to write fiction. My preference is for horror/fantasy/sci-fi and my past projects include scripts and content for interactive experiences, short stories for narrative podcasts, script punch-ups, and a long-running social media account detailing the daily life of a half-built department store.
I’m also available to moderate and appear on panels and podcasts. Previous engagements include events on horror, immersive entertainment, journalism, online media, and how to write great press releases.
